Community Roots @Deepdale
Sanctuary Cookalongs Cooking Workshop (6 Weeks)
Join us for a 6-week cooking workshop at our Deepdale site, where you’ll have the chance to develop basic cooking skills, learn about meal prep, and discover new dishes from around the world. This is the perfect opportunity to explore diverse cuisines and enhance your culinary abilities.
Life Through Activity (10 Weeks)
Our Life Through Activity group is designed with accessibility in mind, especially for adults with learning disabilities. Over the course of 10 weeks, participants will explore various types of activities, including:
- Leisure Activities – Fun and engaging ways to spend your free time.
- Self-Care Activities – Tips and techniques for taking care of yourself.
- Creative Activities – Express yourself through art, music, and more.
Community Roots @Chai
Connecting Communities with Lancashire Mind
We are excited to offer this workshop in collaboration with Lancashire Mind, which focuses on our Connecting Communities project. The programme aims to bridge the gap between professional organisations and community groups, creating stronger networks and fostering mutual support.
Age UK Ladies Group (6 Weeks)
This 6-week programme is specifically designed to empower women, particularly those navigating mental health challenges. It provides a safe and supportive environment to share experiences, gain strength, and uplift one another.
Age UK Men’s Group (6 Weeks)
Our Men’s Group offers a similar 6-week programme focused on mental health support for men. It aims to provide a space where participants can engage in meaningful conversations and receive the support they need to navigate life’s challenges.

Our Community Roots Advisory Group is open to everyone! This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of our services while staying up to date with any changes. Your input can help shape the future of our programmes and ensure we’re meeting the needs of the community.
Nature Health & Wellbeing
Explore the NatureWell approach to Nature Connection in this online session. Learn how building a deeper relationship with nature can have a profound effect on both your physical and mental wellbeing. This is an ideal session for those looking to enhance their connection with the natural world and improve their overall health.
