Community Roots Wellbeing Sessions Coming to Blackpool Central Library – January 2026

Community Roots are excited to bring our wellbeing offer to Blackpool Central Library this January. Designed to be welcoming, inclusive, and community-led, these sessions offer a supportive space to explore mental health, wellbeing, and connection at your own pace and in your own voice.

Running throughout spring 2026, the program blends practical tools with open conversation. Some of the wellbeing sessions being covered are, Understanding Depression, Understanding Anxiety, and Understanding Stress,  There will also be creative and restorative sessions like Gratitude Jars, The Happy Edit and Gratitude & Joy, focusing on noticing small positives and building everyday resilience.

For those looking to deepen self-understanding, sessions on Self-Compassion and Challenging Unhelpful Thoughts will introduce accessible techniques to support kinder inner dialogue and emotional balance. We’ll also host sessions on Mental Health Awareness and Living as a Carer, recognising the diverse experiences within our community and the importance of feeling seen and supported.

A key feature of the program is collaboration. Through our Co-production Lab, participants are invited to shape future sessions and community initiatives. We’ll be asking an important question throughout the program:

“What do you think is missing in your local community?”

These sessions are free, open to all adults, and no diagnosis or referral is required. Whether you’re seeking support, curiosity, or connection, Community Roots offers a place to grow—together.
